After losing his 4-wheeler out of the back of his truck at 55 m.p.h., he decided to make a device to secure a 4-wheeler in his truck. He liked the concept so much that he decided to make more proto-types and finally filed for a patent. The Louisiana Guard Dog is designed to fit any truck with a 2" square receiver. This product will simply secure a 4-wheeler with a 2" ball on the rear axle in seconds, thus elimination straps and ropes. The 4-wheeler can not roll forward or backwards and it restricts movement from side to side. It also protects your ramps from sliding out and deters them from theft. The Louisiana Guard Dog will uncouple from the 4-wheeler, allowing it to pivot and retract down for easy use of your ramps. Another feature that you will notice in the pictures, is that you can still use your trailer ball receiver to pull a light trailer.
